• Onboarding answers — your age, relationship status, priorities, timeline, and similar non-financial responses
• Financial answers — salary, savings, debts, home value, and related fields. These are encrypted in your browser before they leave your device. We store only the encrypted version and cannot read your financial data.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Session data — a cookie to keep you logged in

• All financial fields you enter during onboarding are encrypted in your browser using AES-256 encryption before being transmitted to our servers
• Your encryption key is stored only in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers
• We store only the encrypted version of your financial data — we cannot decrypt it, read it, or share it
• This means your salary, savings, debts, and home value are private by design, not just by policy

• To email you your guide and onboarding confirmation
• To allow you to return to your guide at any time
• To improve our calculator and guide content
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as necessary to deliver the service: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Supabase for secure data storage
